My fiction books have been launched. I now have a fiction author’s page and a nonfiction author page. This helps readers–and hopefully fans–distinguish between my different kinds of writing at a glance.

My first book was a nonfiction release published under my orthonym (not one of my pen names), Clifford G. Harrison.

My Nonfiction Author’s Page

I have released two books so far in the nonfiction department. Then I focused on getting my fiction material published.

As of yesterday, I have published four books so far in the fiction category. All four are in the Father River: The Street Priest series. The short stories are installments of a saga. The stories are about a street priest going undercover as a covert author and researcher investigating the lives of the homeless living on the streets of Las Vegas, Nevada during the Great Recession. He tries to help the street people as well as troubleshoot the problems of homelessness in America. He is most interested in the war veterans that populate the street people by as much as 38%. The stories are based on actual incidences that inspired the writing.

The fiction is written under my diminutive, or abbreviated name, Cliff Harrison. Most fiction, but not all of it, will be published under my diminutive.

I am learning a lot about publishing and finetuning the formatting and inner works of publishing. I expect it to take up to one year, or to January of 2020 to be really proficient and profitable in my writing.  But, at least I am getting started.  Later, I will publish some post here on the Sunrise Mountain Publishing Blog as well as in Vegas Valley about publishing with Amazon-Kindle.

The Eyes of the Eagle

Beer & Pizza Celebration

Today marks the anniversary of something I celebrate every year on this date. It is the fourth anniversary of a mission in which someone reached freedom and independence.

In a daring escape from deep within the territory of international terrorists and Sharia Law stronghold, one young lady enslaved by a patriarchic society braved the enduring breakout to reach freedom in another country thousands of miles from her homeland.

At this precise moment in time, 1806 hours, on 8 August 2014, the Eagle landed in the United States of America. She was liberated from the evil forces that had enslaved her since birth. She had dreamed of such liberty as a little girl. As she laid her head on her pillow in her bedroom, a sea breeze was gently blowing against the curtains through her open window. She dreamed of a hearing the rolling thunder of the rotor blades of U.S. helicopters chopping through the sky coming to rescue her. She never let go of that dream. It was well more than a decade she suffered. By her mid-teens, she endured torture and was persecuted because she rejected an ideology that enslaved her and stripped her of her life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As she matured into a young woman, the threats against her increased. Then, four years ago today, aboard the Eagle, she touched down on the soil of freedom and independence. She had reached the land of the free and the home of the brave, safely. Guardian angels would forevermore protect her from the forces of evil like no other protection could.

Coming within hours of imminent mutilation, torture, and a slow and barbaric execution, she was extracted from harm’s way. After more than forty-hours of an enduring flight with an initial flight path directly over hostile combat fields and urban fighting between Daesh (ISIS) terrorists and Iraqi warriors, where missile downing was imminently possible, the eyes of the angels guided her onward from harm’s way to safe harbor. Three planes had recently been downed by missiles and other hostilities, at least two of them full of civilians. It was a nerve-wracking journey with harrowing episodes every moment of the way. Trying times. Danger. Setbacks. Excitement. Fatigue. Anxiety. But at last, the Eagle made safe passage into the skies of freedom and independence, the skies of the United States of America, where the eagles soar high in the eyes of liberty and the face of justice.Transfered Copy from Computer 2 300

Today, at 1806 hours, victory calls for a renewed celebration. Beer and pizza! It’s an annual ritual.

There is another cause for celebration. As we leave the Freedom and Independence Month of July where we celebrate all month long the 4th of July and the freedom and independence movement of our humanitarianism mission we find ourselves still celebrating and extend the feast a few days more into the 8th of August with this day being every part of the celebrating. (Then it is back on strict, strict, dieting. Fasting and Ungh!)But there is more…

From Slavery to Freedom

Soon to be released will be the Freedom and Independence series of books, the 4th of July and Beyond,is part of that series, explaining our movement, our operations, and missions, worldwide.

From Domination to Independence

My great friend, Cristina, another survivor of evil forces, just celebrated with me and friends, our LEO birthdays, on the delayed 31st of July. Both of our birthdays were in the last week of July, four days apart. We also celebrated the launching of Sunrise Mountain Publishing with friends and the publishing of Book 3 in the series. Book 1 has since also been released and Book 2 is within hours from release. Two other books will follow those releases soon. As we celebrated multiple occasions, we enjoyed Mediterranean Cuisine at Shsish Kabob House on West Flamingo Road having an enjoyable meal with a pleasant waitress from Bulgaria.

Just a few days ahead of today’s 4th anniversary, the Clifford G. Harrison DIY Library, released Book 1 three days early of schedule. The Secret Weapons, Book 1 in the Revolutionary Eradication Systems series, A Standalone Introduction SHOPTALK Edition Book 1: Just Bugs & Social Problems.

Avicii

Avicii

It is with great sadness that we learn that one of our most revered musician and creative artists, Tim Bergling aka Avicii, has died.

Details surrounding Avicii’s death are still forthcoming and being updated. Avicii has had a long-time health problem dealing with alcoholism and the deadly acute pancreatitis. He was hospitalized in January of 2012 for 11 days in a New York City hospital for pancreatitis.

In 2003, or thereabouts, I was hospitalized for pancreatitis for a short period and was out of work, bedridden, for a couple of weeks on pain medicine. Avicii has had other abdominal problems as I have had. Doctors have told me that when they can’t find an immediate cause such as diet, alcoholism or something else, they usually determine it to be genetic. We are all prone to weaknesses others do not have. I can assure you, pancreatitis is an extremely painful experience. Several world-famous people have been stricken with it, eventually leading to their death. Pancreatitis is often caused by high alcohol use or high-fat in your diet, which at the time I had neither so it was more likely a hereditary cause for my experience. I had not used alcohol at that time nor had I consumed a high-fat diet, but I had done so with both for years while I was younger, so that may have contributed in my case. I recovered and had no problems since. Others aren’t so lucky. I was a lucky one.

There are no reports that Avicii died of pancreatitis, only that he has had a history of medicinal episodes of it. We should not speculate in the cause of his death, but only wait for official or family announcements and respect their privacy in the meantime.

Avicii was born as Tim Bergling on 8 September 1989, in Stockholm, Sweden. He died 20 April 2018 near Muscat, Oman, at the age of 28. No cause of death was immediately given, but Oman authorities state that foul play or criminal suspicion was not evident in his death.

Avicii was an extremely talented young man and I appreciated his music. His music videos inspired my featuring them on my humanitarian websites. Avicii was not only a great musician and a creative artist, he was a humanitarian. His drive, like mine, focuses on ending world hunger and suffering by human beings that should not be suffering.

He was doing what he loved to do, even when he had to adapt to conditions that caused him to alter his performance due to increasing health problems. I had the same experience. I am several years behind my work schedule and planned project release dates. Health problems and medical issues have slowed me down, causing me to often become dysfunctional. It is heartbreaking when you cannot achieve the simplest of task you set out to accomplish. But there is a big difference between Avicii and me: Age. I’m 65 and he was only 28, far too young for such a talented career to be so disrupted and to end so abruptly.

The world has lost many young, talented performers over the generations. We mourn such loss of famous people and we focus on and praise their achievements. But I also focus on those the world does not always have knowledge of or news of their suffering. People who are not able to achieve their dreams because other people prevent them from being all they could be. People who have talent and who are rich in life in their own way and yet victimized in slavery, violence, domination, suppression by evil and criminal predators and human rights violators. Having participated in rescues of victims of evil, Avicii’s music has motivated me and inspired me. Likewise, other artists have too, such as Our Last Night who are also humanitarians and advocates against such things as bullying and hate and other social issues.

WE ALL REACH A POINT IN OUR LIVES AND CAREERS WHERE WE UNDERSTAND WHAT MATTERS THE MOST TO US. -Avicii Avicii.com

The Avicii song, Wake Me Up, was established as our theme song and was featured in our first blog post at this site on 27 September 2015.
Welcome to Sunrise Mountain Publishing in Las Vegas, Nevada USA

Wake Me Up was meant to be on the landing page of Sunrise Mountain Publishing’s website Sunrise Mountain Publishing featuring the sun rising over the mountain of humanitarianism, but Sunrise by Our Last Night, instead took that slot. Wake Me Up is featured on our Projects page and has been since the website opened.

We extend our prayers and our condolences to Avicii’s family and loved ones, his fans, and associates. His music, his creations, his humanity, will be greatly missed. The world once again loses a great one.

A SAD UPDATE:
Avicii reportedly committed suicide with a broken glass bottle

I have missed many posts on this blog because I am fully focused on getting my inauguration publications released. Time expenditure is limited and I must focus on my priorities since it takes so long to achieve even the minor things in life due to my medical condition. After the initial publications are released, the flow of other publications will come much easier and quicker due to their not being as complicated or as complex. Until then, stay safe and listen to good music to keep you motivated and inspired to achieve all your endeavors in life.
