Captive in Iran: A Remarkable True Story of Hope and Triumph amid the Horror of Tehran’s Brutal Evin Prison
Captive in Iran, the Book
You can find many videos on YouTube with Maryam Rostampour’s and Marziyeh Amirizadeh’s miraculous story. Likewise, there are many videos that expose the evils of Iran’s most notorious prison, Evin Prison in Tehran and the barbaric abuses of female prisoners, many who are innocent of what would be considered any serious crime in the western world. It is a patriarchic world where the female is born a second-class citizen owned and enslaved by man. She is forever the slave of patriarchy until she escapes or dies. Many never leave Evin prison alive.

I gave Captive in Iran a 5-star review and highly recommend it to anyone who cares about humanity and justice:
“Superb, well-written book. These girls went through hell in one of the world’s most demonic prisons in one of the most demonic lands. Imprisoned, not for something that could be considered a crime (Being Christian) in the western world, but only in the uncivilized dark corners of Iran. The world needs to clamp down on patriarchal societies that place females as second-class citizens and thrust them out of our civilized world. It is great to have Ms. Maryam Rostampour and Ms. Marziyeh Amirizadeh in America where they are free and independent and enjoying their life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We all pray for Ms. Shirin Alam Hooli, their dear friend, who wasn’t as fortunate and was executed by the barbarians of Iran’s brutal Evin Prison. Together, we all must work to bring change and awareness to this demonic culture.”

I meant to post these videos in July, but my TBI, CFS, and PTSD presented long periods of dysfunction. Sorry! The downtime also prevented my latest book being released on schedule. Hopefully, I will succeed in that, later this month.
Today, 8 August 2017, is a significant date as it is the 3rd anniversary of the Secret One being liberated and touching down in the land of the free and the home of the brave. We celebrate today, as we do every year on this date, for her freedom and independence.
